Will wins at Wimbledon

Full marks for alliteration for the author as the title reflects a busy week for the senior track & field athlete of the year Will Boutwood (coach Nick Anderson) who set a new pb of 8 mins 33.60 secs in winning one of the 3000m races at Wimbledon's 3000m festival night on Wednesday. Earlier in the week, last Saturday to be precise, Will had posted a time of 4 mins 19.08 secs at the tracksmith amateur mile race at Tooting Bec to go 2nd on the clubs all time lists for the mile.At the same Wednesday meeting in Wimbledon, Harry Harvey (coach James Mann) broke the 9 min barrier for the first time in coming 4th in his 3000m race and Ruben Price (coach Nick Anderson) also took part and was just 4 secs down on the 3000m pb he set recently.
