Wadac accepted into the National Athletics League

After 5 years of working through the different divisions of the Southern Athletics League, I am pleased to announce that Wadac’s application to join the National Athletics League has been accepted for next season. Thank you in particular to Andy Fisher and the other head coaches who have tirelessly worked towards this goal and of course to the many athletes who competed in the Southern Athletics League to get us to this point.

With so many talented athletes at the club including the 20+ who went to the English School Championships and those who have competed for their countries, the National Athletics League is the pinnacle competition for the older juniors which will allow our athletes to compete with the best in the country. Presently, these athletes are having to compete higher claim for other local clubs. It will be fantastic to see them now compete in the Wadac colours.
